An educational programme on Disaster Risk Reduction and Emergency Management was held at the Disaster Management Center on 20th June 2022 for the students from the University of Lincoln University in the United Kingdom.

Students attended theoretical and practical demonstrations on disaster management mechanisms, emergency management & early warning system and emergency operation coordination process in the Country.

The keynote address at this event was delivered by Major General (Retd) Sudantha Ranasinghe, Director General of the Disaster Management Centre.
